(Aad Granth Sahib - Page 303)

Since its creation, the singh sabha lahore's main effort of converting The Satguru's Sikhs into the sikhs-of-government has been tremendous.

From physically coloring a Khalsa's Bana(White) to some other color, to brain-washing and confusing people with fake sakhis(History of The Gurus), every effort has been made by them to rid the earth of The Akal Purakh Satguru's Sikhs.

In order to discredit and exclude The Namdhari Sikhs from their views, so that no one even hears the word 'Namdhari', the singh sabha leaders have now even fabricated the origins of The Khalsa Marriage Ceremony; Anand Maryada/Anand Karaj as well as The Baptism Ceremony for women, which were pioneered by Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji Maharaj, to be from The Times of Guru Amardas Ji/Guru RamDas Ji.

In some places, singh sabha writers fabricated that Anand Maryada was introduced first by Guru AmarDas Ji and in other places they say it was Guru RamDas Ji who introduced the ceremony! The same goes to Baptism of women into Khalsa Panth, even though it was only until the time of Guru Gobind Singh that anyone was even given Amrit from Khanda (Khanday Di Pahul) in the first place!

However, if facts are considered, it is crystal-clear that the singh sabha's theories are mere hoaxes. For there is no recorded Sakhi of any other Satguru introducing these Maryadas other than Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji.

The most solid evidents that can prove singh sabha writers wrong are:

1) All of The Satgurus's Marriages, even that of Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji, were performed with Brahministic Rituals. If the Maryada was created by Guru AmarDas Ji or Guru RamDas Ji, it would have surely been performed instead.

2) No Mahals(wives) of Sri Satguru Gobind Singh Ji ever took Amrit or became Baptised. This Maryada of not giving Amrit to women is still present at Takhat Sach Khand, Hazoor Sahib - Nander.

The Truth, regarding these Maryadas, is as follow:

Women's Baptism, in which Amrit is given to a woman and The Title 'Kaur' is suffixed to her name, was first introduced by Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji on the Pooran-Mashi(Fullmoon) Day of June in 1858 A.D.

Anand Maryada, in which a Baptised couple are wedded, was also first introduced by Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji on June 3rd, 1863 A.D. at the village Khote, where for the first time in The History of Sikhism, Anand Maryada was invented and performed for 6 couples.

-*The singh sabha's 'anand karaj' ritual, in which a couple circumbates Aad Granth Sahib, is not a Maryada set by any Satguru. They have merely copied the name 'Anand Karaj' from Namdhari Tradition as well as the reading of Gurbani during the process and altered Guru's Sakhis in order to discredit Namdhari Sikhs.

Similarly, singh sabha leaders also admired Namdhari Maryada of giving Amrit to women and treating them with respect. So they copied it as well and it didn't take much time for them to start fabricating Guru's Sakhis and adding whatever they could think of in order to hide The Truth.*-
